Cartoon just got Powerpointed

This cartoon has been tweaked to 4:3 dimensions in order to fill the screen. After seeing a few presentations I thought it might be a worthwhile experiment to see whether I could increase the visual impact for an audience.

If you are adding cartoons to a Powerpoint slideshow, I recommend maintaining the original proportions, as designed by the cartoonist. This prevents unusual distortion of the image and speech bubbles are easier to read. In your menu, go to 'Size, Rotation' and check the 'Lock aspect ratio' box.

Avoid cluttering extra bullet points or headlines around or over the cartoon. These may complicate an already lively scene. Ideally, speaker's notes should be hidden from the audience, to avoid distraction.

Also, reading a cartoon caption out loud to an audience may qualify as a cruel and unusual variation on Death by Powerpoint, and constitute a breach of the Geneva convention.

Is it worthwhile converting more cartoons to this format? Let me know your experiences, wisdom and suggestions in comments or an email.
